About

AI Ethics, Oversight & Norms for Multilateral Engagement

AIEONME Foundation is an independent AI governance think tank advancing the Global South and Latin American perspective on frontier artificial intelligence.

What we do

AIEONME Foundation researches frontier AI governance: who reaches the most capable systems, under whose rules, and at whose cost. We publish a Strategic Paper Series, an original concepts glossary, and the weekly AI Term of the Day series, all in English, from The Lithium Triangle, Northwest Argentina.

Why the South, why here

Frontier AI governance is designed in a handful of capitals while its material inputs, including the lithium under the ground this foundation stands on, come largely from the Global South. Latin America is a massive consumer of AI and nearly absent from its governance design. AIEONME was founded on February 1, 2026 to close that gap with research rigorous enough to be cited by the institutions that decide.

How we work

Every claim in every paper is checked against primary sources before publication. Data, lists and figures are attributed to the source that produced them. Papers ship bilingually, English and Spanish, with methodology, limitations and a suggested citation. Where we coin a concept, we give it a stable canonical definition in the glossary.
